If you look out from the deck you will see the Vlei and lake. The lake is home to lots of windsports – windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing and dingy sailing. The lake is shallow and very safe for those learning windsports, but also offers plenty of challenges for those who are experienced. Facilities are free and there’s a very good café there selling home made produce.
